Enleiten Help: Overview

The Enleiten System was designed to support the Getting Things Done (GTD) workflow model. The system has an Inbox where you keep track of everything that you think of immediately and therefore alleviate the stress and worry that result from trying to remember everything that you have to get done.

As you think of tasks that you need to complete you can add them to the New Task box, and then go back and focus on what you were working on. (If the tasks are so quick that it would require more time to enter them into the system versus actually performing the task you do not need to enter them into the system.)

By setting up your Inbox with the tasks and projects you need to complete, you eliminate the worry and stress and are able to focus on the tasks at hand. You want to process your Inbox periodically, perhaps during a break, making sure to deal with everything that is listed.

An efficient way to handle these tasks and projects is to break them down in your Inbox into individual steps and then put those steps into lists. Each task is handled independently and has to be either:

Your tasks and/or projects can be assigned start date and due dates so that the system will prompt you to take action at that specified time.

At least once a week, it is recommended that you spend time reviewing, planning, and setting up your tasks and projects for the following week, including clearing out your Inbox.
